Nu-Finish....
« on: June 13, 2006, 02:38:53 pm »
Used Nu-Finish on my fibreglass tub, shower surround after a thorough cleaning.  Looks marvelous.

Now.......I wonder what else I could use it for....any suggestions, other than my car, of course ;D

Well you could try waxing your legs with it... though I doubt the results will be as favourable.   ;)

Normally I would laugh at the thought of this playing out except that I have been subjected to such devious works by my X-Wife. i WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER...
There was a silver linning though. My big toe hit the wall at the bottom of the stairs and broke but...I hit it so hard not only did the toe break but I got a huge blood blister under a planters wart that just happened to be on the same toe (too much info yet?) and damned it didn't kill it! I had the bugger for years.

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos?

My brothers and I would spray Pledge on the hardwood stairs to play this trick on each other.  Nasty -- but facking hilarious when you're 10 years old.

Maybe your ex was trying to kill you?   :-X

Probably not what you had in mind but because it's fairly durable it also works great on outboard motors that are exposed to the elements 24/7. I use it on the cowlings and lower units of black Mercury outboards and they look great afterwards. 1001 uses around the home, or cottage.

Would not waxing a tub and shower make it super slippery? My wife broke her shoulder getting out of tub last Dec. Would not want same to happen to you. I would watch it.

Oh crap........ Now I am sounding like my mother screaming "don't run with the siccors in your hand" or "carfeful you could take someone's eye out with that".

It's OK lol--it's my teenagers bathroom--plus, being the good mum I am, he has a large rubbermaid bathmat!

That's what I'm looking for, other stuff to use it on in the home (other than my legs ::))  I thought it would do an excellent job beading and sloughing off stains from my greasy DS. Tonight he had a bath rather than a shower, and yikes........bathtub ring.  I'm very surprised. I thought it would do a much better job than that!  First bath......heck, I might as well have used Mr. Clean.  He has now cleaned it off under threats that I can't repeat here.

How about the Lab? The water would just bead up and run off. Little need to shake and no wet-dog in the car.  ??? :rofl2:
