Strikes me as kind of "yesterday's vehicle"

Then so is the Pathfinder, the Cherokee and other heavier duty SUVs.  While most people would shy away from the Sorento as it is not a lighter CUV desired by many, it fills a purpose for some.

Like the car in white, though.  Reminds me of a Volvo for some reason.

Very nice looking SUV. But for the price, I'd rather get something else (used 4Runner).

I think the design is still relevant, but it is getting 'mature' for sure.

I thought the Pathfinders' design is all-new?

Sorento still looks fresh. Working for Lexus so.... With two motors to choose from they might be adding even more buyers. The improvements should make it better all around.

When I mentioned the Pathfinder et al, I was referring to the vehicle type (truck-based vs car-based) and not the look of it.  As far as the look goes, it's not that far off the curve, although the front could have used a slight freshening up.
