I realize this is not the buying and selling site but that forum hardly gets hit. Anyways I've been on many sites which give you a value of a used car and was wondering which one(s) are the best for cars in Canada. I've been to the NADA Guide site and a few others. I have a 2000 GMC SLE 1/2 ton, long box regular cab, 327 engine, auto transmission, command start, power seats/windows/mirrors, spray in box liner, chrome grille guard, CD, 4X4 with Z-71 and towing package. 63,000 km. It is in really good shape I get figures anywhere from 10-16K, I realize that I would never get the retail value but probably between retail and trade in. Anyone out there have any ideas what this thing is worth or where I can find out? I don't want to advertise too high so nobody considers it. Huh

Well IIRC you could get a value from the Toyota and Dodge websites by building your own vehicle and then work out the prices that way. Naturally it will be a low price because they assume 'x' number of dollars will have to be spent to make it fit to resell.

The other route to go though would be to go to the Auto/Truck Trader editions and look at what your truck is selling for across Canada. You will see dealer and private ads there.

Neither does the "Search" button.

The Canadian Driver website which we are on may also give you a insight as to the value of this vehicle by just reading their ratings on them in the used section. Sounds like a nice truck with the right options to get a good dollar for it. Shouldn't be hard to sell at all as any good truck usually has more then enough folks interested in it.  Smiley
