Topic: 02 Civic Parking Light

How do I change the parking light bulb in the headlamp assembly on a 2002 Honda Civic?  Do I have to take off the fender or plastic wheel well?   And I thought changing bulbs on the New Beetle was hard. 

What's a good service manual for the 02 Civic?

I have a 97 Acura 1.6el and not sure if it is the same but I would think it should be pretty similar.  There is a plastic clip you need to remove about the tires.  Peel back the plastic cover and you should see the opening to the bulb.  Be carefull, the clip are very fragile and if you break them, just go to honda and buy one ( I think around $3 but I could be wrong, being a while).  Also if it is on driver side, have your car parked with the tires turned right and left if on the passenger side.  Hope this helps.

Thank you canadianexpress.   It worked.  I got the bulb changed.   I broke the head off the clip and I got some scratches on my arm from reaching in.   What were those Honda engineers think?
