Venture Brake Wheel Cylinders at Canadian Tire
« on: May 17, 2006, 05:44:18 pm »
Last year I had my Brake Wheel Cylinders replaced at Canadian Tire.  Now, 12 months and 2 days later (past warrantee) I was told they needed replacing, again. Does anybody know if this happens often?  Does it sound kind of suspicious to anyone else?

Wheel cylinders are generally good for 8 to 10 years or 140,000 km onward.  To have two go bad after 1 year I have never seen or heard.  Keep eye on brake fluid level.  If no movement downward then you don't have a leak.

At any rate; find a different repair shop.
