As indicated about 9 posts down here:

My 2006 Jetta 2.0T, yes this one, has been towed to the dealership twice in the span of less than one month of ownership, because it would not start.   Angry

As the dispute with VW escalates, I don't consider it prudent to discuss in more detail here. However I also don't want to leave a false impression if people visit this thread. Bottom line, my expectation that beauty would be more than skin deep has been shattered with this car.

Wow that sucks. I hope the dealership can fix it for you because the new Jetta certainly is one excellent vehicle. While it's being looked at, did they provide a replacement vehicle at least?

Thanks for the re-write  Grin  However, I don't recall it getting darker out there since I began driving with normal headlights many moons ago.

Simply put, it set me off on my pet peeve.  Roll Eyes I just don't like silver lights, in fact I hate them equally to garbage can sized mufflers and massive wings on the back of automatic Civics. if you get my drift. And I'm hardly alone. However I don't like the Corolla rear end either.  Undecided

He he, thanks! I'm waiting for pics to be up here in Readers Rides. Ran out of web space and don't know free spots for pics that can show here via a link. Still have the Jetta 2.0T which is my wife's primary car now.

I traded this for the Audi, due to the Need For Torque (297 at low revs) AND a manual tranny Wink
