I use a Pro Clip in my Volvo. Very well made. Fits right in.

I use ProClip as well. Solid, quality holder custom fit for both the car and your device, can't go wrong.

Problem: The suction cup mount on my Nuvi 350 recently failed after it baked onto the windshield in the hot sun. When it was removed, it left a signficant residue on the windshield, meaning the rubber was no longer smooth and could not seal properly. As such, it now falls off often and unpredictably.

Solution: I called Garmin at 1-800-800-1020 (yes, the double 800 is correct) and they will ship me a new mount, free of charge and no questions asked. They said that they changed the composition of the suction cup material, so hopefully this will solve the issue.

FYI... :)

The Nuvi 680 comes with a subscription to MSN direct. The MSN services (weather, traffic, gas prices and movie listings) are downloaded to the Nuvi through a special cable that connects to the garmin mount so using one of these clips would mean to forgo these features.

Sorry this is a few days late. Pics of how I mounted (click on pics to enlarge)

(1) stick the shiny round disk onto dash where you mount the GPS "holder" (stcky side down; shiny side up)

(2) Arrange the "holder" to look like this:

(3) Mount "holder" in that position onto black disk

Accordingly, I didn't know that! I had switched mounting it between the 2 cars many times and I thought I was responsible for its loss of suction. Thanks for the tip, I'll call them if my suction goes really bad.
