You consider the Touareg/Q7/ML/XC90 as X3 competitors? Aren't those all X5 competitors? IMO, there isn't much competition for the X3 at the moment... and the RDX should be its closest competitor.

No, they're not. All have smaller SUVs coming within 2 years. X3 has gone the route alone until the RDX arrives, but many others will be joining the party in short order.

Ah yes sorry I misread your previous post. Isn't Lexus supposed to come out with an SUV smaller than the RX350 too?

And at 37-38k, the RDX would be a great deal compared to the german offerings...

Marekesh/Q5/MLK/XC50 vs X3 and RDX.
