I just want to make sure everyone understands that the blue colour is non-standard, the skids I got were BP's display model for the 10 gauge kit.  BP is no longer making the 10 gauge, only 3/16" so the display kit was not needed and was made available, so I picked it up.

You can only see the blue if you know to look, so I am not too worried about the colour but the standard un-coated or black ones would have been my preference.

As for installation, the only issue was that the shop that did it broke a couple of the small bolts that held the original plastic splash shield off and these had to be drilled out.  They missed one (hence the farthest right rock washer is missing) and will re-do it at the next oil change.

Other than that, the install was straightforward with everything BP supplied fitting perfectly.  It is a very nice product.

New Skid Plates? Does this mean you won't get stuck on snows anymore?  ;) They look very nice.  But how to you show them to people that you have them tho? Being under neath of the truck and all. They should of come with stickers that you can put on the side of the truck.

;)  They did come with stickers, I will post when I get back home (they are not going on the truck though  :o).

I do not really care if anyone knows I have them, it is good enough that I know and am no longer afraid of punching out the oil pan.   :D

Worth every cent after the first impact.

Got that right!  :D  I know a Pathy owner who hit a rock with the cross member (the one the front suspension attaches to), result was a $1,800 repair bill   :o.

Trainman, I was only joking!  ;D

There was a CRV on the same crescent where I live in Calgary a few years back, it had a roof top light bar, front and rear grill protectors, light covers, stickers out of you know what. Dreesed with the off-road look to the max.  :P It was worse than most riced-out Civics.

No pic, but I will get one if it is still there when I go back to visit, still got froiends live in that neighborhood. Bought the house for $190,000, sold it at $230,000 18 months later, now it is about 4 years old, worth well over $350,000. Should of, could of, would of .... only if I had brains to think far ahead.  :-\
