Rut Ro II – Wagons ho!

I not sure which wheels I like better. I bolted on my summer grippy’s this afternoon and I am undecided which look better.

Me too.  OEMs look nicer and goes well with RutRo's silver paint.  Use your summer rims for winter boots instead.

If the lighter silver alloys are the OEM's I like them better too. The dark grey ones look too small on the car, and too fragile IMO. The OEM jobbers look good - just the right heft to them.

Subaru has really improved the look of those Imprezas! Love the front and all else more too - rear roof spoiler, exhaust tip, skirts. Nice stance, and neat how the lower part of the bumper chin spoiler thingie wraps around up into the front wheel arches.

Since recently discovering Impreza is larger inside than I thought it was I do see it as better value. Doesn't come across as upscale one iota to me, but that's not it's mission - it's about practical performance, and a really true honest functional design.

If I'm not mistaken, that's a 2006 WRX wagon....what gives?  That's not the Subaru your wife purchased.  Nor is it your 2002 WRX.
The OEM wheels on the WRX are one of the best looking wheels I've seen...period!

I also vote for the OEMs - they are far sharper looking on that car.  :)

Yup... add me to the OEM's group.  Although, what's the weight difference between them?  If the OZ's are considerably lighter, that might change my tune.

Rut Ro II looks fantastic Snowy!  Can't wait 'till you've got the break-in over and the mods go on.  Write me down on the must-drive-it list.  ;)

Subie rims are nicer on the new Rexer.  The OZ's aren't that good looking on the wagon for some reason.  Like SAM says, the spokes are too thin and look lost on the vehicle.  Sell 'em and get some better looking rims.  ;)

The OEM’s are much heavier than the OZ’s and tip the scales in their favour.

OEM's provide the better look, but the lighter OZ's would provide better handling. How much difference is there in weight between them? Enough to change?

I see also that someone else has not taken down their Xmas lights. ;)

OEM's for me.

Great looking car.  How about some interior shots?

If there is a list for rides put my name down second then.   8)

OZ's. Not only lighter but they are likely better for brake cooling.
Congrats Snowy.

So then, I guess the only reasonable solution here is to use the OZ's as winter rims for Rut Ro II.  Use the OEM 17" off RutRo II for the 2.5i Sport Wagon.  Use the 2.5i Sport Wagon's OEM's for winter on the Sport Wagon and get a new set of more up-to-date and stylish wheels for Rut Ro II for the summer that are light and sexy.  :)  I recommend a set of the forged STI wheels.  ;)
