Great car and great weather. I feel better knowing it still rains a lot there.

..had a nice drive today  :)

Prospect Lake?

Nice drive from West Saanich Rd. through the Highlands to Highway 1 (well, it used to be.  I remeber when it was half gravel  ;D).

Nice car, just a light mist today eh?

I miss the weather and the green.

Nice car! Wouldn't mind that twisty myself.

Is the red bit on the lower bumper insert a reflector, or Si trim piece? Good move purchasing before the price bump.

Great car!  I think the SI is the best bang for the buck in the small car performance market.

Trainman; yup that was up through west saanich then left by the red barn market (?) then up to durance lake and to the saanich inlet! Great drive.

sirAQUAMAN64; my own doing for the reflectors.  see and be seen.

I'm very happy with the price; saving near $1500! on a honda too.

Nice stuff Roba!  I pulled into the Sunoco the other day to fill up right beside a new Si. His was a strange taupey/beige colour, but with those nice wheels on it, still looked mighty sharp!  Sounded nice as he drove off too.  Great machine and a hell of a value!

Good looking car.  I'm impressed with it....I can almost see myself in one.  The GTI and the MX-5 are the only vehicles that I like a bit better.

When I was in the CSX, I disliked the audio controls on the steering wheel (horizontal placement rather than having them line up vertically)...are the inner controls more difficult to press when driving?

That brown is an awful colour...

If you go past Durance, then head right and up the hill, go down the other side, past the fire hall, then left at the mailboxes to the end of that road (Mark Lane) you are just a 10 minute walk from a nice, relatively remote provincial park and access to Saanich Inlet.  Some nice house along there too (my sister lives out that way, but not in one of the nice waterfront ones).

Galaxy gray they call it.  Brown I call it.

I like the steering wheel controls, they work fine and in simlar fashion as the TL.  But being from Victoria, I will never use the cruise control by default.

Trainman, I was there today - it's a very nice place but currently mosquito ridden.

I don't think the TL controls go across the steering wheel arm.  Nonetheless, it's a good car you got.

Geez, you guys, when I was a kid, about 6 years old, my grandparents lived on Brentwood Bay and used to take a bus into Victoria on West Saanich Road back then. There was this really scary (for a little kid) power plant at the head of Brentwood Bay with a tall stack and all. I think it wasn't in use even then, but a really scary place (just down from my grandparent's place). There was lots more bush and it was a lot more "frontierish" back then; I've been by since and now it's all houses and subdivisions. It used to take over an hour to get into Victoria on that old bus.  ;D ;D
