1991 ford f150 5lt engine water in breather

does anyone know why there is a lot of moisture coming into breather from valve cover,pcv has vaccum,engine runs up to 190 deg,

Welcome Dad to the Forum, how do you mean by water in the Breather? Have you checked the rad or oil level and what does it look like to start with. Is there any white coloured scum looking milkey stuff on either the OIl dip stick or underside of the rad cap? We need to know alittle more be fore we can advise you in a correct fashion.  :)

Need more details, mileage{many miles = more blowby}, service history{has the PCV Valve or Breather been changed recently}, driving habits{short trips = more moisture staying in the crankcase}. Have valve covers been off this engine before? If not the baffles inside may be plugged up with sludge/carbon.

truck has 155,000 kms,all gaskets were replaced last spring due to oil leaks pan gasket was pushed out ,pcv valve is new,no sign of moisture in pan,has new thermostat and fan clutch,moisture comes down tube from valve cover and clogs filter,i use it for a service truck to repair appliances as well as personal use,it gets up to temp before getting to town,there is vacuum at pcv,is any one oil better than another in this case ?

Are there any signs of oil on the Dipstick for the oil. It will have a milkey while acid on it if there is. Do not get this on your clothes as it is Sulpheric Acid.  :)

So this is the old 302 (5.0) right?  What you might want to check is the screen below the PCV inside the manifold.  Providing this is the same motor I'm thinking of, it is exactly below where the PCV plugs into the manifold at the rear of the motor on the passenger side.

This screen is a super :censor: to remove and is encased in a round piece of metal about an 1 1/2 inch deep and about an inch in diameter.  You can either get a new one or try and clean it.  Its like steel wool.  Your mileage is about right for a problem with this screen.  Also when these plug, you get oil leaks as it increases the manifold pressures.

Many Ford mechanics don't even know it's there. ::)
