Well, that would be generalization and thats quite true. The issue here wasn't the general needs of the populace, just the questions raised by few concerned individuals.

I actually do what you suggested. For my daily driving, what I have is sufficient, for longer out of town trips or utilitarian uses, I try to stretch the limits on my car, failing that I rent an appropriate vehicle.

But, the issue was, if you have an expensive vehicle like aforementioned, how utalitarian its ought to be? A bigger boot is a must for me, if I go for a vehicle like that.

A co-worker just imported one from the US. He just loves his FX. He realized that he would compromise on cargo space but in his search for an SUV for his expanding family he wanted to have something fun as well. He was going to get either a Pilot or Highlander but just coming from a RSX he wanted something more interesting.

Well, I'm a single guy who sometimes hauls around computer equipment during the week. The seats often come down for that, but not all the time.

Weekend trips to the cottage, unless I'm really hauling a lot up the cargo space is just fine.

Put it this way - the cargo space is average. If you want more space get an Expedition

I can understand how your lunch might end up in the passenger seat, given how you drive sometimes.... ;) ;) ;D :rofl2: :rofl2: :skid:

Usually I am the only one driving in my car, so a lot of my stuff goes in the passenger seat or backseat. The only time my trunk is actually full with stuff is when my girlfriend and I go up to the cottage. There may be one or two times a year that I wish I had more cargo room, but generally speaking, if you don't have a family and don't haul a lot of stuff on a regular basis, the cargo in the FX will be adequate. Especially if you're the only one driving most of the time. For the few times you need more space, then you can rent a vehicle.

ZING!  Good one.  And having driven with Wing a couple of times now, I can say that that is a 100% true statement... sometimes.   ;D  (sniff)... Mmm... I can still smell that clutch cooking.
