2003 Santa Fe tranny troubles
« on: March 27, 2006, 05:55:46 pm »
I have a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe with around 56k kms.  the tranny from the beginning tends to jump into gear when you come to almost a complete stop or revs a bit before dropping into gear when you go around the corner at around 20kph.

anyone else having similar issues?

Welcome to the Forum Gord7, we do have a few owners here with this type of vehicle but I believe theirs are newer models and they have not had this problem that we have heard so far. Make sure your fluid level is not low and check for a loose tranny or motor mount just in case. Make sure the engine is Hot when checking the fluid level and on the tranny dipstick it should say whether to be in park or nuetral in order to get a proper reading.  :)
