The new to me 2001 Volvo V40
« on: March 26, 2006, 02:54:05 pm »
So here it is.  A few shots (the sunny ones) are before I got to wash it, the clean shots are also the "wet look" as I just washed it and just as I finished drying it the weather decided 60 seconds of rain and hail was appropriate. >:(

Just as a refresher - 2001 Volvo V40.  Saphire Black with Taupe Leather interior.  Touring & Sport Pkgs + DSA.

That comfy if not a bit bland interior.  But, those seats ...

Back seats with the integrated boosters.  For those looking a legroom, I'm 5'10"-11" with a 32" inseam and the driver's seat is set for me in these photos.

The last photo is my tribute to a certain CanadianDriver photographer ...  :rofl2:

Thanks for posting lots of detailed pics of the new ride david. Looks like it's in really good shape. And you're right, nobody makes seats quite like the swedes! Another happy Volvo owner   :fiver:

Congrats, Davidm, the V40 looks very sharp - glad to see you got black also. I was away and may have missed this, but was it a private or dealer purchase? KMs on it?

Looks to be very well cared for, thanks for all the pix.

Nice looking wagon!

Davidm, not sure you mentioned this before, is this seat occupied or on reserve?  :D

Some family up the street and around the corner has the exact same car.  Not sure about what package they have.....

Your new ride looks good.  Congrats and hope you enjoy it.  Do you miss the Audi or is the Volvo filling in nicely?

The V40 is too cramped in the back for my liking, but it's a beautiful car - I do love it. Great choice!

Those Volvos have probably the best head restraint of any vehicle manufactured today.  I've been rear ended twice and my wife once so I pay attention to that particular aspect of cars.

Nice looking car.

Kid all youi want ....  ;D  but my neck was killing me after my last time being rear ended.  :drive2:

Insurance adjuster wanted to have it repaired claiming the frame was still straight.  ::) :P

Let's make this a game and guess what car that used to be.
