Hahaha, Kimi is more than an Iceman he is a robot man, drives like a robot as well, doesn't seem to make mistakes but his car falls apart all the time.

Piquet vs Mansell
Senna vs Prost

They had more fun fighting each other as teammates than trying  to win races.

And Tamiya is behind all this.

Hey, stop picking on Tamiya. I've built a few of their models and back in those days, they put anything American to shame.

Just head out to finalgear.com, the 911 really beat down the sports bike. It was ridden by a GP fellow. I don't follow moto racing since 18. So no idea who. I was surprised too. Can't compare. the vette and the viper can't handle for :censor: on the track compared to a 911 GT3. Except the new Z06.

Well that must have been on a very tight track because I can't see that happening with the relatively slow 0-100 km/hr times of the GT3, plus in the time it takes it to get to 160 km/hr (8.7 seconds), the latest hotest street bike is up to 240 km/hr in 9.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Top speeds are now just over 300 km/hr. Not bad for about $15K.

But stop teasing me. If you only knew how many Porsche books I have in German and English. I still think an M3 is a better all around daily driver though. But you can't get the rush you get on a bike and I haven't been on anything hot since the early 90s and things have changed a lot since then. In the end, I'd sooner take my BMW R1150 GS Adventure for a round-the-world tour like those British actors did on the Long Way Round. The Alps will have to do me for the next while till I retire.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

That is quite the comment...and they didn't fire him on the spot?

He didn't say it exactly like that but you could see what he meant by looking at his face ... the team's PR that was with him was $hiting is pants.  :rofl2:

You mean due to his lack of podium appearances or because he is anti social? Whenever Kimi speaks, he sounds like a robot, but if you've ever listened to anyone speak Finnish, that is the way the language sounds...very broken/hacked. He could crack a smile now and then, but that is also very typically Finnish...they don't show emotions.

Kimi is a great driver when his car doesn't fall apart or he's not taken out by wannabes like Klein.  I don't really care if he's not very social with the press ... he does a decent job!  "Friendly" pilots are always a plus for the team ... like Rosberg who's got the looks, talks french/english/german/Italian/spanish AND he's a good driver!
