New '06 Solara's new wheels.
« on: March 13, 2006, 11:31:11 pm »
Wife's new Solara with the OEM tires gone, replaced with Yokohama Avid V4s tires, mounted on FRD 17" alloys. The OEM 17" Toyota alloys will become the winter wheels with news snows to be bought next fall.

Not all Toyota's look like appliances, IMHO:

2011 BMW X3 35i Vermillion Red, MSport
and
2012 Toyota Camry SE V6 in Alpine White

While I don't as a rule like the looks of black cars, that does look sharp!  :o ;D

I intend to keep a pretty low profile, and may be forced to hide behind the woodshed again.  ;) ;)

Careful.  Read that story about the guy who was forced to marry the sheep he was caught with behind the woodshed.  ;)

That car looks slick.

Nice ride Ovr. Those wheels look great. Are you going to paint the callipers? black would be nice, I know red would not be your style.

Thanks, but only back on a limited basis - many threads/topics I will skip altogether.

No, think we'll have stealth calipers, ie. unpainted.  ;D

Oh, and yeah, the Solara looks good too.  :)

TRD suspension bits perhaps?  (sorry Ovr, it's my job to spend others' money!)

I've got the place all lined up... I just want to wait until I put the summer tires on it.

That'll be sweet.  I was inside the new MX5 at the car show...very nice interior...fit me nicely.
