17" Alloy Wheel - Gold (Not Forged)(Sti)WINTER PACKAGE 17 inch Sti alloy wheel. Used in 'Winter Wheel' program. Suggested List Price: $547.37
For sure these are $547.37 per wheel. The wheel in the photo is *the* bug-eye STi OEM wheels...circa 2002. No spare set for me...

Snowy, a popular choice is ASA JH3; I think Tiretrends got them for $185 a corner. I bought a pretty cheap set of Fast Poison wheels for $650 all four including tax. Oh, and they are 17x7, which means that I can opt for 205/50/17 winter tires. |

Yah...$547 sounded awfully inexpensive (cheap). We do have some options that fit and aren't too pricey or ugly. |

Thanks Morty. I will keep you in mind if I go the STI route. Rational thinking and family responsibilities combined with fiscal pressures are weighing heavily on me right now. A new WRX or LGT would accept the SL’s rather nicely. |

Yes I will be putting Rut Ro in the trader in the spring. I will only be asking fair market value, so somebody will be getting all the mods for free. I do not expect any money for the mods and no one should. If Rut Ro does not sell by late summer it will be used as trade at the local Subaru dealer, they know it well and have no issues with it. |

Not sure if we are brining both cars this year . Our Ottawa vacation will involve the Sport Wagon for sure. I have the roof cargo box from the Highlander to modify first. The mechanic at our Subaru dealer who gave me the 96k service said it was the best mechanical condition of any WRX he has seen. “you can tell a 20 year old was not driving this” He was amazed to find that it was the original clutch. He recognized all the mods including the ECU flash. |

Yes, People with the same mods have passed. I was prudent enough to get a mid-pipe with a hi-flow cat. I kept all my OEM parts and the original exhaust system which could be installed for the purpose of the test. |

Cars in Alberta don't have to pass no stinkin' e-test. |

The air north of Parry Sound is too clean, apparently. |

Snowy, I would recommend installing your original parts and selling your mods on NASIOC or toronto-subaru-club. It is a bit tough to sell modified WRX; it usually sells for LESS than their market value, especially if you had some power mods. |
