TRD body kit makes the best-looking compact truck looks even better.

I've never really understood the truck-tuning scene... I expect a pick-up truck to be practical, that's why its made with a bed in the back. So modding them up and selling them to people who will never use them as pick-ups seems illogical to me.
That said, I know there are people who need a truck AND love their toys, and this would probably appeal to them. Love the look of it, anyway. |

Looks better than the regular 2WD Tacoma but not very compatible with our winters. I saw one at the Montreal Auto Show (with the NHL chopper on the top floor of the Toyota display) and it's a lot lower than McIntosh says ... but it's a nice "sporty" truck.

The body kit makes even those 18" rims look lost in the wheelwells. Throw the Tundra V-8 into the Taco and it would be even better! |

But what is really the point of a lowered truck, if not for posing? |

A little fun and diversity never killed anyone. If every car on the road should have a "point" to exist ... 75% of the business is going out the window! |

Isn't "posing" a reason to exist?
Ask Paris Hilton. |

If someone buys the Tacona X-runner and enjoys it ... good for him. I don't think it's about posing but who knows. I agree with one thing: Paris Hilton = useless |

I like this truck, and really like the hood scoops, exterior colours, and interior.
I find the wheels do look too small, and some of the trim pieces and rear bumper don't look as slick as they could, but hey, overall I'm a fan.
It's getting harder and harder to find higher powered M/T trucks. Even crew cabs with V6/V8's and manual transmissions are becoming harder to find.
It's nice to see Toyota of all brands coming forward with this truck, even if it's 1 year later than they launched in the US.
I don't find it's priced all that bad either. Good work. I hope to see some of these, even tho it won't be many since it's only a 4X2. I think doing the opposite of the 4X2 PreRunner and also making the X-Runner 4X4 would have been cool. Those base Tacos with their undersized wheels are horrendous. |

Taco Bell: Make a run for the border! Make a run for the toilet! Good ol' Toxic Hell. I get a craving about once every other month for their soft tacos and fries supreme. Then my stomach reminds me why I don't eat there more often. |
