I'm sorry if I ask this question in the wrong forum. Please let me know the right forum that I should post to....

I have a pretty small garage. I hope the following device may be able to help

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00085F4AS/102-1167598-8736966?v=glance&n=15684181

Do you know if this "Park Zone Auto Parking Aid" is avialable in any store around Greater Vancouver area?

If you own one, do you think that it really helps you?

Thanks
Dominic

put a 4x4 down and stop when your tires hit it.
Wait a 4x4 probably cost more money

Secure two tires to the wall either side of the front license plate.

For this device you need an AC outlet in the right place.

Hang a tennis ball from the ceiling so it touches the windshield when in the proper position.

:iagree: Costs like 2$ and saves you a lot more.  A 80 y/o neighbour showed me that trick  :rofl2:

I bought mine at the Home Depot in Halifax about 6 months ago...   I think it was a surplus item as I haven't seen it on the shelves since.  Mine is not a "Park Zone" but it uses ultrasonic technology to gauge the distance.  However, I have it turned off as it has a tendency to beep in the middle of the night when the car is in the garage!!!   Sometimes it works great... and other times not so good - if I depended on it 100% I would have driven into the family room a few times!  Save yourself $20 and get a tennis ball.

Yup this is what I do. My Dakota has 2" of clearance from the front bumper to the stack of tires and my toolbox in front and 2" from the rear bumper to the closed garage door. The ball takes out the gueswork. Damm modern urban garages. >:(

Endure you use a wire or some cable that will not be affected by changes in humidly or heat too much.
