You must have to wear a helmet too..  big one at that.

You must be pretty smart - you haven't been here very long, but you figured that one out pretty quickly! Welcome aboard.  ;D :rofl2:

Yup, I'm sure he is a bulldog...  stubborn little fellow.  Weighs 75 lbs and I have to lift him up into the FXT.. he loves the car too.

I tried getting a black FXT but there are very few that come into the country.  The Forester Turbo is not all that common out this way.  I have the only one in Fredericton at the moment.  Going to a car show today, never no what a person will see there.

Have a good one.

....exactly guys....my Impreza was kinda tight in the back for rear passengers.I even find my Legacy a little on the tight side for rear passengers too.It seems like my Legacy is larger than a Mazda3 sedan but smaller than a Camry, kind of a size of it's own really in my opinion.
As far as the back seats go all in all rear passenger room is not a big deal to us because we don't have folks in the back of our cars all that often so.

We'll be getting a 2006 Forester in June sometime likely, just have to see what manuals are still on the dealer lots at that time.

I was walking in a parking lot last night and saw a Impreza parked near my car and realized just how small that car is.I am not cutting it down by any means,it just seemed bigger when I had mine not long ago.

cheers boys,

DD :popo:

ps-do some of you find the Forester 2.5X and XS to be on the pricy side for what you get?The Forester is actually said to be a great value.
Cars are super fun to waist $ on!

I've been comparing Forester and RAV4. IMO Forester XS is good value for what you get in its class.

small update on the Forester... I went to another Subaru dealership to have a look at their used inventory and sat in a 1999 Forester... I don't know if I configured the driver's seat differently or what, but I found the passenger space behind the driver's seat to be more than sufficient... my knees barely touched the seatback. It may have been because I had set the driver's seatback more vertically than I had the other time, but I was really comfortable that way. I really don't see why I would buy something else than a Forester... it'd be perfect for our needs!

As a side note, the salesman said that lease rates for base Forester X was 0.8% for 39 months... he said it was 345$/month including taxes, with about 2000$ due at signing for delivery and a few other initial costs (don't remember exactly). Too bad I'm not looking for a new vehicle, and that leasing is a no-no for us with the amount of driving we do... because that's a pretty great deal IMO!

As a 2nd vehicle, it will be perfect. When it's time for kids, in 2-3 years, our main vehicle will be minivan, with something like a Forester as the 2nd vehicle. IMO, the Forester alone is too small to go on trips with even 2 small kids, but to travel around town, it would be plenty big. Minivan+Forester will do a great job, and I'll probably drive around with the Forester...  :)

Probable is as far as it goes sometimes, I am being told, I'll have to drive the minivan if we get one. Forester and minivan a good combination though. Good luck.

BTW, saw your TS in the paper on Saturday. $16,595!
