Spiegel-Online auf Satire reingefallen

Der Inhaber der Premium-Wodka-Marke Iordanov Vodka (Niko Jordanov) versteht sich als Mann der Satire
und legt Spiegel-Online rein. Der Journalist hat geglaubt, dass es einen Blocktarif zu 129,- Euro pro Anruf
gibt und hat prompt berichtet, Niko Iordanov gibt Arschbombentipps (Wasserspringen) zu 129,- Euro
pro Anruf.

Christoph Titz schrieb das aber keinesfalls in einer netten Form sondern so, um Niko Iordanov
zu diskreditieren und als Abzocker darzustellen.

Eine peinliche Panne die zeigt, dass es der Spiegel mit der journalisitischen Recherchepflicht nicht mehr ernst nimmt
nur um Leser zu gewinnen.

Nun muss jeder aufpassen, wenn er eine satirische Webseite online stellt, dass er von Spiegel-Online nicht
diskreditiert wird. Der Spiegel greift Satire auf und berichtet diese als wahre Tatsache. Es scheinen dem Magazin
die Themen ausgegangen zu sein.

Der Spiegel verkommt somit zu einem Blatt auf Niveau des Boulevardjournalismus. Peinlich, oder?

I like the exterior styling, it's not as boxy looking as other vans. I couldn't tolerate the center binnacle dash design. The CD changer is under the front passenger seat. Imagine trying to change CDs on the 401 at 70 MPH. The van did not appear to be well made. The final straw was the extremely poor reliability reports.

The 07 revealed in Chicago has a brand new interior, and a somwhat revised exterior.

I’m not sure Nissan has resolved all their assembly plant issues in Alabama. Reliability has been poor.

The CD changer is under the front passenger seat. Imagine trying to change CDs on the 401 at 70 MPH.

As wing mentioned, the CD changer is in the centre stack; the DVD player is under the front passenger seat.

CD changer appears to be at the bottom of the console... wouldn't you need to take your eyes off the road for a good few seconds when you want to load a CD? Doesn't that kind of nullify their argument that center gauges are safer, and then they put the CD changer far far away from your line of sight? It seems like an odd decision...

Well, it's not at the bottom, but nor is it ideally placed. Best to leave DJ duties to the front-seat passenger, for sure.

It's rather surprising that Nissan dropped the ball on this one considering the fact that
Renault builds what was always considered an 'avant guard' mini van in it's Espace.
I recall driving one in the south of France in 1990 and was taken by it's nimble
handling, good looks and much better than expected performance. Renault should
design these things and I'm sure they would be a success.

Inserting a CD into that slot is maddening. Takes a number of attempts to get the angle right. Also, the centre arrangement of buttons is fine, but I find the angle of the bottons themselves is not intuitive. Plus, the 2nd row cupholders are ill-placed - you can't keep a drink there when entering/exiting, and most people wind up putting their weight on the plastic or have their skirts caught on it. They should have been mounted inboard instead of outboard in the seat. Lastly, the quality of the interior is not up to snuff IMO.

Otherwise, I like the exterior design and interior funkiness of materials, engine, etc.

Glad they redid that interior though. As snowy mentioned, reliability would also be a factor if I were buying. Which I'm glad I'm not

the wife loves hers. No issues yet although its early days yet (ours is a 2004 with 30k on the clock). I quite like the styling of it (for a van), way better than the usual bland boxes. Central guages are a bit annoying and the CD player is a bit fiddly to operate at speed otherwise controls are decent. Power and handling is good but the turning circle is really large.

I don’t think the 2004 Nissan Quest we looked at had a DVD player. The salesman said the dash slot holds one CD; the other five go in a cassette thingy under the front passenger's seat. Anyway, the device under the front passenger’s seat wasn’t very convenient.

mine has a DVD under the front passenger seat, single cd in the dash. Might be a case of you can get either the DVD or the CD changer. Under the seat isn't the greatest but I don't load DVDs will driving.
