While it is true to say that there is not much money to be made writing about cars, take a look at what I own and I'm a registered auto journalist.

Oh wait a minute!  Huh

I only have them because I brought them cheap and fixed them up in the days when I was a mechanic. Now I write and get to drive new cars that don't belong to me, and hope that I make enough money to put fuel in my own.  Grin
