Pontiac Montana SV6 will be gone in the US, but Canadian sales volume is high so don't expect it to disappear up here.

Too bad about the MPV. That JDM one looks swanky. Mazda's MPV was the first truely competitive non-Chrysler minivan back in '88-92 IMO, but they took forever to redesign it.

Mazda MPV will be gone and replaced by CX-7 or CX-9... dunno which is which... but... what a pity! I think we deserve the JDM MPV!

In the review of the CX-7, there is this line:  "...the as-yet unconfirmed CX-9 with three rows of seats should be out as well as an all-new MPV. Smart guys these Mazda folks."  Full review here: http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/mlf/07cx-7.htm

All New MPV.

So it is not dead after all?   ???

Now if Mazda did bring the "new" MPV to Canada, and it could tow at least 3500 lbs.... :o

Canada is minivan country. We love minivans. Next time you're stopped at a light, count them. The nummbers are mind boggling.

In a recent trip across the border, other than my van, I counted maybe a dozen. There's no love for them in the US, I can't figure out why. My van gets amazing mileage, it's way more convenient with the baby seat than any SUV we looked at.

I think the author is wrong. No MPV bound for here, as much as I'd like to see them.

When was the last time you saw a truck or SUV in the bush?   ;D

Vans are light trucks, that is why here.   ;)
