I got all the equipment, but I don't know about the local distributor?  I know the factory is in Vaughan (north Toronto), but I thought everything was direct from them to the dealer as every dealer is shareholder in a co-operative setup.

I will need to approach my Krown friends.  Thanks for the heads up on this.

Princess Auto also sells these oil guns for around $40. for the kit. They work quite well for the money.

I have a Toyota Corolla 1999 CE, with 199,000 Km, I am the original owner, no rust.

This is what works for me.

I wash my car 1 to 2 times every 2 weeks in winter (if you live in a city that uses alot of salt), and 1 time a month in summer.  (more if it gets dirty quick0  I wax 3 times a year.

If you ask me rustproofing is great if you want to throw away money.  In any case the galvanizing, paint and clear-coat should be sufficient provided you touchup nicks and wax, wax, wax.

It depends where you live and how long you keep your car. In Nova Scotia [the salt belt] I see 1997 cars starting to show signs of rust in the door bottoms and around the rear wheel area. Eventually a car will rust if it is not rust proofed, money wasted or not, it's seems to be open to debate.A 1999 corolla would not show noticeable signs of rust it is too new.I love these rust proofing threads.Stay away from the dealer applied crap , it really is a cash grab.
