Detroit International Autoshow on TV now (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm est today

For those of you just laying around waiting for the Steelers/Broncos game at 3:00 pm today, the Detroit car show is on NBC Detroit and NBC Spokane, Wash.  for those of you that have sat TV. or maybe it's on cable as well.  :)

I saw some of it.  It was ok...lots of plugs for NBC's coverage of the Daytona 500.  It was hosted by an all-NASCAR broadcast crew, even.  There sure were lots of nice vee-hickles.   ::)  Wing your favourite Italian was there, too.

I thought it was the best TV coverage I've seen of a show.  They went quickly but thoroughly thru each exhibit talking briefly to company heads.  They did have a southern boy theme to it where they would take the viewer on a test drive.  One was in black Charger SRT and on a normal public road setting just burned the thing up.  Jay Leno was on, he's driving the INDY pace car.  Stuff like that.  I got interrupted during the second hour so I missed a bit.  Hopefully they will replay it on a Canadian channel.
