I'm thinking this might be the summer also. We hit $129.9 (~$1.45 for premium  :o) on the weekend and they are still talking that it will go higher.

In this country, "peak" is a relative term.  Depending on the province in question, one could see swings of several cents per litre.  For example, gas prices in Montreal at at $1.394 per litre of regular as of late last night.

This afternoon Belleville was a $1.31 for 87,   Cobourg $1.26

Heard that prices were to jump today, so raced out and filled up the nearly empty Scoob this morning at $1.02 and now its $1.16.  Hey, seven bucks is seven bucks!  Went out for lunch...

Saw on CNN in the eastern States they are using Irene as an excuse to raise gas prices 20 cents. Hasn't happened here in Ontario yet.
