Trick for cross border Costco shoppers: Load a cash card up in Canada. I believe my TD debit card charges 1.156CAD right now for 1USD but the Costco cash card does not charge any commission or fees so it's the wholesale exchange rate, 1.12 CAD.

Costco out in Abbotsford did get to as low as 108.9 but it's 116.9 now.

Langley/Port Coquitlam Costcos are 118.9 each.

Gas stations in Montreal still do the "let's ALL raise our prices by 5 to 10 cents all at once, followed by lowering verrrry slooowly over the next week!" thing, usually starting on a Thursday. However, the jumps are no longer absolutely guaranteed every week and the jump-lower cycle has been coming down from the stratosphere.

The last price I saw was about $1.299 at pumps near my house. Costco is probably 5 cents cheaper.

My hope is to see $1.199 by the end of November. Lower still would be asking for too much, methinks.
