16 inch wheels
« on: December 19, 2005, 04:00:29 pm »
Hey Morty or Arch,
Can you tell me why there is so few options for 16 inch wheels? I have a Ford Focus and I know its bolt pattern limits me ,but Geez! I had to buy a new set of tires while I was in Victoria and now have a new set of Proxes 4 TPTs on the car. Problem is, I also have 3 bent factory rims. I got back to Alberta OK but would like to replace the factory wheels and as I'm on my winter rims I thought this might be a good time. Will I have more options in the Spring? ???

that later alloys wheels on Foci were 16" but not very attractive. The bolt pattern is more common in Europe (Euro Fords, Peugot, etc) so the pickings are a little slim. Contours, Merkurs, 4 bolt Mustangs (different offset), Hyundai Pony/Stellar, some old Alfas also share the 4x108mm (or 4x4.25").

Problem is the bolt pattern is not overly common. Maybe give us an idea of the style and we will see what we can find that will be close.
