If Mazda did not offer the escape clause after the HP reporting error would you still be driving it? |

For sure, there is no way I could have afforded to dump the car and take a huge hit, I would be driving it and surely enjoying it.
Although I would be hating the gas mileage. |

Not sure about that one, I may or may not be, I originally bought the impreza while I still had the RX8, because it seemed like getting wheels and tires was going to be a pain. My neighbour has a blue RX-8 that he drives all year. I think I may have sold my impreza by now and bought winter tires / wheels though.
It's all speculation, I don't think things through for very long usually, it was an easy decision to get all my money back as it allowed me to have more toys.
I had a 5 year loan on the Rx8 at something like $750 a month, I paid $200 less a month on the S2000 for 2 years and it's paid off, total cost was about $5000 cheaper for the S2000 when all was said and done. |

RX-8's won't take a block heater... Mazda totally ignored cold weather conditions when designing the Renesis motor... |

I think there is some type of application someone has devised, although I could be wrong. But it's not NEEDED in Ottawa, my neighbor doesn't use one, and I never use one on my Subaru, even though I have one. |

There are a few RX-8’s running all year here in Sudbury. All of them I seen had winter wheels on. I have yet to see a 300 with winter tires on. What does that say about the intelligence of the owners? |

I've heard unanimously that the RX8 is just silly without snows... an absolute no-brainer there. Whatchoo talking about a "300"? 300C? |

Just before we signed the papers for the 6-wgn I asked the g/f one last time was she sure or did she want the RX-8 now. She actually said it makes more sense to get the wagon as all of our camping stuff won't fit in the 8 even though she really loves the 8 (she doesn't talk about cars very much either). I was willing to suffer and/or pack lighter but she is right.
I took the demo from my dealer for a ride one day and they had to pry me from the car after it was over. Just loved how it drove and how well it fit me and the BEEP at red line even though the tach in centre is big enough I could see it without my glasses and..............Great, now I want one again. |

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

I've heard unanimously that the RX8 is just silly without snows... an absolute no-brainer there. Whatchoo talking about a "300"? 300C? all of them MDX, nope, couldn't afford it. Even after the kick-ass deal offered to me from the dealership, with higher fuel, insurance and maintenance costs, it would have cost me more than the Audi. The MX5 on the other hand, is saving me big time in monthly pmt, insurance and fuel; not to mention the $4-5k of mileage overage costs I would have been faced with for the low mileage lease on the Audi. All told, I'm looking at a savings of... hmm... well go figure, about exactly what my wife's Sea-doo will cost us. |
