Toronto Auto Show 2006
« on: December 07, 2005, 08:53:15 pm »
So who's going? Only 72 days to go!!!

Tickets are $5 off if you pre-order before the end of this year. I went last year and still didn't manage to cover all the cars in time. I'm looking forward to taking a very close look at some of the new VW models... AND I wonder which cars will be newly unveiled between now and then.

Well I asked Grant for a press pass and he said I would probably get one.  But my flight is already booked for Detroit, I fear Toronto will be a bore after Detroit :(

Yes I am still contemplating going, but the expense after Detroit may not be worth it.  We'll see.

It is a business expense….tax deductible and all. That is what I did last year.

Ummm sure but I still have to PAY for it.   I don't work on the theory of business expenses it's still money out of my pocket.  I won't be getting any money back from Mr. Gov this year, I will owe them lots :(

Haha.  Mine is pretty simple
Pay Stub In, Tax Out.  That's it, that is all.

I'm contemplating deducting my laptop, Camera, and a few other things I bought recently that actually I use for this business, but we'll see.

Anyways, let's get off this topic, it's off topic!

You don’t need a lawyer to fight the CCRA

I've done Detroit before... too busy, and not worth the extra hassle and expense to get there.  The Toronto Show has everything I need... plus a great group to attend it!  (and I typically get press passes, heh heh)...

 ;D

I can't wait.  Auto Show Season is known as "the OTHER Christmas" for me.  :)

Jeff, I'm going on press days though with a press pass so I don't think it will be THAT busy.  Grant mentioned the Tuesday was pretty bare with the opportunity to sit in everything.  Look for me in any car $100k+ :P

It will be long though 3 days!

I'll be there! I have a friend that comes up from Ottawa and we usually go together every year.
