Suggestions for winter tires for 2000 Ford Focus?
« on: December 03, 2005, 01:53:34 pm »
Hi, everyone! What a great website! I'm so impressed with all the information here.

Any opinions on Winterforce Bridgestone 185/65/14 tires? I've been looking around for Nordic Vikings (?) but the places I've checked are sold out already.

I drive mostly in the city (streets and highway).  My existing all seasons are worn out but I'll likely trade in the car in the spring.

I'd appreciate any advice.

thanks,

Heather

Winter Force has gotten good reviews. At this point in the season the better known and lesser expensive tires are usually sold out and you have limited options. Good tires to consider would be: BFG Winter Slalom, Blizzak WS50, Kumho KW19, Pirelli Winter Carving and Toyo G02+. Broad price range and tires are still available.
