You may discuss our cover story of the day in this thread....
Test Drive:
2006 Mitsubishi Outlander LS AWD

2006 Mitsubishi Outlander LS AWDIn the same class as the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and Hyundai Tucson, the Mitsubishi Outlander is certainly not as well-known, but offers comparable 4-cylinder horsepower, passenger comfort, off-road ability, and a class-leading 10-year powertrain warranty, reports Paul Williams.  Still, the Outlander must compete with cheaper Korean competitors and better-known Japanese competitors, he says.    More...

A ten year warranty is only good if the company is still in business.... with the number of issues faced by Mitsubishi, I would not be drawn towards these cars simply by a seemingly-appealling warranty.

The Outlander is restyled for 2007. It will looks much better. Neighbours down the street from me had a white one. Other than that one, I hadn't seen too many around.

Here's some pics of the 07 Outlander that I posted a LONG time ago...

There is an Outlander running around Port Alberni these days. I am singularly unimpressed with the looks, but my bigger concern would be the company's long-term viability in Canada.  Huh
