The only scary part of REVO is braking distance of wet road, longest from all 4.
For wet and dry pavement, they're all pretty close. The Revo has a slight advantage on dry and a slight disadvantage on wet. Very slight in both cases.
On ice, the only tire that is really "out of the window on confidence" is the Dunlop which scores consistently lower than the X-Ice, WS-50 or Revo 1.
To me, the real result is that any of the Revo 1, WS-50 or X-Ice are excellent choices and in the real world, I would dare anyone to notice the differences in performance on any surface...
