I can't speak from experience, but in my own research I found this tire test from the tire rack where they tested the blizzak against the x-ice.  Worth reading:

Then...get the X-Ice.  Chances are, they are both excellent ice tires.

The REVO1 is in its first year - you aren't going to find a lot of first-hand accounts.

For wet and dry pavement, they're all pretty close.  The Revo has a slight advantage on dry and a slight disadvantage on wet.  Very slight in both cases.

On ice, the only tire that is really "out of the window on confidence" is the Dunlop which scores consistently lower than the X-Ice, WS-50 or Revo 1.

To me, the real result is that any of the Revo 1, WS-50 or X-Ice are excellent choices and in the real world, I would dare anyone to notice the differences in performance on any surface...

Johngenx is correct...all of these tires are very good. Cant go wrong and ordinary drivers will not notice any difference, but will be safe regardless of their choice.
