I've got a Mazda MPV and a Protege.  Typically, the dealership or Costco does the van (under warranty).  I do the car (use Castrol synthetic).

I always do my own oil changes as this way I get to look under the car and '' SEE FOR MYSELF" what needs attention ;)..02 civic has the filter above the drive shafts so after you drain the pan and you go after the filter there is always a little left and of course that comes out down your arm (lol) and across the drive shafts and on to the exhaust pipe.lol..(damn engineers) for Honda..I take all my oil and filters to the local recycling facility (free of charge) for proper disposal ;D

Hey, we have the same Honda and oil spills.  :)

Dealership. Can't be bothered to do it myself and take the used oil to recycling. I'd much rather read a chapter or two of whatever book I've got going in the comfort of the dealership lounge  :)
Chris Matthews, CNBC: "You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour"
Jon Stewart: "This guy is one scotch away from being Ron Burgundy"
