If I had the money, that car would be VERY high on my list. One of the best looking cars out there for sure!

Congrats! I'm jealous! At least, I'm pleased to see that there are some interior parts and bits showed in your picture that are identical to those in my Jetta... And they up to Audi's very high standards for their interior... So I can say I'm *almost* driving an Audi!  ;D

Well I would say I'm impressed if the "wood" is real. Very few, except at the top end of the market, use real wood anywhere. I have no reason to doubt you guys saying it's real wood.

So, that's pretty neat, IMO.  :)

About the wood trim, is it an add-on that was installed by the dealership? Or is it actually an option that Audi installs at the factory?

I have a wood trim kit installed in my Jetta, the previous owner had it installed by the dealership, and I think it adds a lot to the car. It doesn't look (or feel) cheap and it adds a lot to the otherwise very dark interior of the Jetta. I'm sure my kit is not real wood though, but still, I like it. Not like it as in "I would have paid for it myself", but like it as in "I'm glad the previous owner paid for it".  :)

It is not an add on or stick on.  The wood is a factory option and the samples they had at the Audi dealership split in half show real wood and real aluminum.  The interior feels very high quality to the touch\feel which is hard to convey in pictures, very thick.

Here's a picture for shnak with my VWs in the driveway :)

Nice ride Onearmed. I have always liked the look of the A4’s and the new version is keeping the tradition alive.

Funny you say that considering VW sells a lot more worldwide than Honda and Acura combined. In fact, VW is #4 worldwide in terms of sales. They might lose money, in part because of expensive adventures like the Phaeton, but they have more customers than Honda...

Interested in selling VWs, Shnak?

I don't know of any VW-Audi product that has fake wood. They're all genuine from the factory. Passat V6's and W8's wood was real, along with real aluminum in most of the Audi interior trim bits.

I've had a look at the VW accessory tack-on stuff and I think they claim it's real but I've had a look at it as pieces and it's debateable. At most, ultra-thin wood, but am not sure.

Not sure if it's exact same color than the kit I have installed in my car, but it looks very similar. Hard to tell if its real wood or not as its coated with a layer of clear plastic-like substance. Either way, it certainly looks good enough.

OMG Audi A4 must be my next car...after several years.
I really love the new styling of all Audi models.
Especially, the new agressive look of the front.
A really great car.
