Welcome the New Car to The Family (A4)
« on: November 13, 2005, 02:07:47 am »
2006 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro 6AT

Father just picked it up today (Sat Nov 12), beautiful car.  Can't say enough good things about it.  It was built Oct 05 and its sitting in the driveway right now.  Quick turn around, less then 2 months to order from factory.

Almost fully loaded:

Dolphin Gray
Wood Grain
Sport Suspension
Sunroof
Premium Package
Technology Package

Here are a few pictures, not great shots but better than nothing.

Thanks for the pix.  I really like the update, creating a better look with little change.
And good job with the turbo, I think it's the better choice of the two with than a nose heavy V6.

Sales service was top notch, don't know about car service yet. So far everything has been perfect, as it should be!

Great looking A4. A subtle but classy looking sedan. Thanks for posting the pics. I love that colour too.

Thanks everyone ! I'll try to take some interior shots as well.  If anyone has any questions, I'll try to answer them.

It's dark out now, went in the garage and took a picture.

It's even reasonably decent "plood" - looks a lot better than some I have seen. Good deal. Nice car.

Thanks all.

The interior looks much more impressive in person.  The picture I posted is washed out, doesn't do the interior justice!

The "wood" trim is very nice.  I'm not so sure its not real either Ovr.  The wood trim in my Passet (sic) is real, so I don't doubt this is.

The service experience at Agincourt was pretty good as I remember it.  Take advantage of all the "pre-paid" work & parts you can get within the free maintenance period.  E.g. windshield wiper replacements, brake service (pads, rotors & fluid), synthetic oil changes, any bulb replacements, battery if required etc.  I hope you enjoy it.  I think the revised tail lights on the 06 cars are an improvement over the previous generation (no offense Jeff).

Oh yeah, there are performance enhancing software programs available for your car's ecu already in case you get the urge to leave the 3.2's behind you (or those small engined BMW's).
Oil obsessed...

The wood is supposedly real, it definately looks and feels it, for 500 dollars it better be !! ;)

Actually Audi adopted a new policy, they lowered the warranty coverage.  Maintenance and synth oil changes, brake fluid flush/change are covered but they no longer cover wear and tear items.  The main items no longer covered after 1 year are light bulbs, brake pads, and wipers.
