Yup.  It's a Honda Civic.  No big wings, no ground effects and lights, no noisy exhaust...  just some nice wheels and performance tires.  And a killer stereo.

We're all auto enthusists here so no one has to feel inferior about whatever they drive (unless it's an Aztek!!).

Thanks for posting, Demo. Looks clean and sweet. And I, for one, am glad it doesn't have a fart can exhaust and a stupid wing.

Enjoy.  Wink

Don't go power tripping, snowman  Roll Eyes

I am not belittling, just trying to stop te idea that every japanese economy car is a 'rice rocket'... It is my understanding that rice rocket is a term for fast japanese cars, not all japanese cars.

That said, I lvoe the look of those rims!  Thumbs up

It's not a rice rocket...  thus was my point.  Smiley  Rice rockets (imho) are econoboxes with big wings and fart cans that don't offer any substantial power increase over their stock brethren.  That said, there are people who consider any Japanesse car a rice rocket...

As for the rims...

I LOVE Spam.  Canned meat....you can't beat the smell of that in the morning....the best part of it is that you don't even need teeth to eat it!  Dig in Jeff.   Grin

Nice car Demo.  15" sub?  What sort of power are you running to it?  Back in my younger days, I had a Pioneer head unit feeding a Rockford Fosgate Punch 500 mated (bridged) to 2 JL 12W6.  That and another smaller Punch 100 running the front Boston Acoustics speakers in the doors.  I no longer enjoy bass (Saf??)....and my preference in music doesn't have that all too often (but then again....CBC is going the Top 40 route) so it's kind of a mute point.

At the moment, 200 watt bridged Pioneer amp.  It gets the job done (the bass is ridiculous, actually...), and I got it and the sub (and the box, for that matter) for a steal.  I'm looking into upgrading the rest of the speakers to match, but it's costly.

That sounds like a good starter system.  A 15" is too much for me.  The bass it produces is loud and sloppy.  Good for fast paced music.  You'll need some serious speakers and juice to have the vocals and other sounds keep up with a sub of that size and volume.  I bet you have no trunk left.  My 2 12" subs were in a ported 6 cubic foot box.  No trunk left in the Accord I had them in.

The novelty was fun at first.  Trunk space would be nice, though...  I'm actually open to someone to buy the setup off me and I'll drop a Pioneer 10" w/ 300watt amp in instead, but I'm not actively trying to sell, so...

If you like loud bass in a small box, get a bandpass 10" or something...they will pound and still give you a trunk.

Ohh that's right.  Do you know a guy living near by that has a "riced"  Wink silver Integra, lowered, with knock-off Konig rims?

I've got 2 12" pioneers and a JBL amp just taking up space.
