Toyota RAV 2006 In Canada?

Does anyone know when the Toyota RAV 6 will be available in Toronto  - Canada?


According to Toyota.com, 4 cyl will be available in the US by end of December and V6 by end of January 2006.

First time I've seen it writted RAV6  ;D

I've no idea... seems that would be around the time, as info is leaking now about them so they must be en route and Toyota doesn't seem to have big delays with engines when launching.

4-cyl production starts this month, on lots in December. V6 production scheduled for January, last I heard, which means on lots in February. Could change but if so I wouldn't expect too drastically.

Can't wait to test drive RAV6. Combined Toyota quality with their typical excellent, silky smooth, refined and very quiet V6 in a mini-ute would force Honda to drop 3.0 VTEC from Accord into next CR-V. :)

Yes, Honda will have to react to the Toyota move. I am also wondering what is going to happen with pricing. The new RAV is creeping into Highlander territory and what will move in behind in the RAV4 in the line up? Or will they surprise us all and keep the pricing at current levels.

Too bad the Matrix was stolen last year.  The choice between the new Rav and X-Trail would not have been easy.

Highlander will be redesigned after Camry and Avalon, since they are all on same platform. Maybe they will dropped the 2.4 while leaving V6 3.5 to against Murano, Pilot and Tribeca.

Local Toyota dealer here is a buddy of mone. 4 cyl Ravs in by X-mas. Spring for the 3.5L 268 hp V-6 models. Gotta try one of those puppies.
