Whatever you do, don't forget that the 2005 model will instantly depreciate a full year the minute you buy it... so if after 3 or 4 years you decide to sell your Mazda6, there will be a difference of $2-3k between the 2005 and 2006 models. Just be aware of that. So for that reason alone, I'd expect the deal on the 2005 to be at least $2k cheaper than the 2006... and an excellent financing rate too...
