Of course, to most of us, that's old news.

More interesting are comparision tests instead of a Michelin "advertorial" for it's X-Ice.

Far more interesting to many Canadians would be the performance on the various road conditions we face during the winter - packed snow; centre-bare (one side on snow, the other on pavement); deep snow; slush; and yes, ice.

As ice is likely the least frequent condition, I would be much more interested in snow (winter?) tire performance in digging through soft snow, and to a lesser extent the other conditions mentioned above.

Comparison testing by an unbiased source is essential.
