The Future's Orange!

Only one mod so far (which I haven't taken any pics of yet) which is the Lotus Stage 1 Exhaust, may go for an induction kit in the spring...

Power is how fast you hit the wall... Torque is how far you take the wall with you!

Nice...
I see you don't have electric windows, is it weight related?
I assume there is no air conditioning either (and cup hoder ) A real sports car! (not like those Hemi chargers)
I think the roads in Canada are too bad for it to be a daily driver here unfortunately...  :'(

Very racey, Bob. You must have a blast on the country roads with that one. Enjoy (as if you won't).  ;D

No electric windows, partly for weight, and partly 'cos it's another thing to go wrong on a hand-built car. No cup holders  but it has got air-con, it can get pretty hot in the Summer with the engine right behind you so air-con is a must...

Yep it is great on the country roads, my daily commute is about 40 miles of them, each way!

And for those who don't know Saffy is an ex-parrot, I mean ex-Scot who has probably drunk 10 times as many warm pints o'heavy than I!   ;D

Love the car.

I don't think it would be a problem as a daily driver in Canada, can't be much lower than my S2000 (5 inches)  Hopefully Lotus brings them in, the elise is coming and the exige is coming to the US.

That's such a cool looking car.......

What I couldn't get over was a picture that was in the new Car and Driver or Road and Track or maybe it was Motortrend......Anyhoo, there were two Lotus' (Lotii?) parked in amongst a group of about 15 other cars on a racetrack. It was one of those 0-190million mph-0 tests with other like-minded cars. I could not get over how small the Lotus was compared to the cars around it, including a Mini! I think a Lotus won too....

Back on topic, awesome car!

Cheers guys! Yeah CP it is pretty small, it's actually easier to park than the wife's TSX, even with bugger all rear visibility...

I had a quick look through my piccie archives and can only find one pic of it not next to another lotus...

 >:D  :P

I thought I saw a specialty dealer in Vancouver taking orders for Exiges. Seems like we are getting them.

Demo car has been in for test-drives here in Vancouver.  Pre-orders are being fufilled in December.  I believe base price is approx. C$58.5k.  I have already pre-bribed a friend on the pre-order list with dinner in exchange for a drive.  Notice the excessive number of "pre's" in that.

Go to www.weissach.com and into the Lotus section and you can "build/configure" your Elise.
