Does anyone own a truck that they use everyday.
I read some people have a beater truck .
I have 2003 GMC 1500 4x4 with 64,000km
mods- sunroof, heated seats, SS tube steps

I call my Pathy a truck (lots of people call it a car or a girls truck

) and it is used everyday, including bush work.

Does this count?

Or are you thinking pickup truck?

Yes, lots of people use trucks everyday. Contrary to common belief in this channel, they were not invented to infuriate Civics and Yaris owners. Everybody I know who owns a truck uses it almost everyday.

May I ask why you're asking this question?

I own and drive everyday a 1972GMC P/U Heavy Half-ton truck. That is until the Snow starts to fly and then it goes to the Barn for the winter. This winter a Saturn will replace it for the 1st time.

My dad has got a Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4, Laramie Edition with leather seats and step bars... drives it every day. Does he use it for its intended purpose every day is another question...

I've got a 86 GMC Sierra Short Box. 305 with a sweet lumpy cam, sewer drain edelbrock carb, headers.
It has a ton of potential, but for me it hauls my drywall whist I finish my basement, and moves some dirt and brick for my landscaping, then it is gone. Spring '06 it will leave me, along with it's 20-22 Blocks to the Gallon of non-catylist treated emissions. It will turn into an early 90's Miata.

I have a 4x2 compact pickup truck. See leftside for details. Wish that I had a true 4x4 though. Where I live, every second vehicle seems to be a truck....a domestic full size 4x4 mostly.

In Cobourg , I think it is about 90% GM trucks then Ram, Ford
I guess that happens when you are 40 min away for GM truck plant.
Also it helps to drive into the plant in a GM when you have a job there

Yup. My primary vehicle is a 2002 Dakota Quad Cab AWD. I don't drive it every day though. About 120 kms per week.

Yea ,I am a Truck owner 2003 Dakota , befor that a 1984 Ranger that I had for 20 years and 2 days...the Dakota will last longer than I will.

My ex has a 2004 Durango extended cab. Prior to that he had a Mazda B2400 extended cab, and before that a 1991 or 1992 Mazda B2200 extended cab (I never saw that truck). All pretty basic with 5-speed RWD.

I don't drive pickups anymore since I sold the farm but I got a 78 Dodge heavy half (only because I previously broke the rear springs and installed some big leafs out of a 3/4 ton Ford). I drive it about 50 miles a year. Mostly to the gravel pit or to get trees. I don't bother with a renewal sticker. Fortunately the renewal sticker is on the front plate and they are farm plates to boot so the OPP leave me alone thinking I'm a struggling farmer.
