Nice Rides BB…that CL is timeless. Is your 240 trying to draft? |

With THAT shape it better be. Classics both, BB. BTW, nice job on the downhill parking job. The flat landers 'round here pay no attention to that stuff. |

When you live in Dartmouth, you NEED to know how to park properly downhill. You should know that, DSW |

It's a hill... well more of a slight incline. And Mr. T that was the only way I could fit them both in the pic! Mdx, I know, it's kind of ironic isn't it? Such contrasting shapes |

Dartmouth? Do you go broke having to pay the bridge toll each time you need to visit Halifax? |

REALLY like that Volvo!
Used to seem them all over, but very few 240's around nowadays. Actually, haven't seen an Acura CL of that generation for awhile either, tho I like them a lot.
But seeing that 240 is very cool. Looks like the original wheel covers and fogs. It's funny, that thing looks like a tank and a classic, yet it's so oddly proportioned - both in the rear overhang and how the wheels don't come out to meet the fenders. Plus, it was on the market with very few changes (except the update to the clear non-sealed headlamps and such) for eons. hehe, Gotta love the hard slatted headrests and huge flexible mudflaps as well. Blue looks good on it. Rear fog light in that puppy?
Both look well cared for. Very nice contrast between your rides! |

Wow, your knowledge of 240's is impressive SAM. Yup, those are the original fogs and hubcaps except for the front driver one in the pic with the CL. The original actually came off on the highway and the driver behind me rolled over it and crunched it to pieces. So I went to the Volvo dealer to find a replacement put the prices the were asking for ONE hubcap was ridiculous, so I cheaped out and bought an imitation. But I guess it's not that noticable! And yes, it also has rear fogs. That's right plural. There's a rear fog light on both sides for some reason. Which is illegal I know, but that's how the car came! I don't use em that often anyway. I usually put em on when I've got a tail gator riding my arse. Funny thing about the headrests, is the ones up front are padded. But the ones in the rear are the hard ones. I don't get it haha. It was built here in Halifax when the plant was still here, so maybe that explains some of the quirkyness |

BTW, nice job on the downhill parking job. That's the first thing I noticed! Nice cars, and nice parking. |

I suspect that there are those, even here, who don't understand about the "good parking" comments! |

I didn't notice it but you're all right about that - correctly done parking job. Neil lives in Saskatoon, bet he'll miss it (but I seem to recall he did like in BC a while). |
