Apparently the Fuzion is a great tire, and cheap to boot!

I have 4. Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and they are great tires.

The MX's a great tires as well, last out of that list isn't that bad.

Here's part of the blurb on the Fuzions:
"To be honest, we didn't have high expectations for this tire since it's really outgunned by its more expensive competitors  However, it finished a very respectable fifth overall, just behind its big brother from Bridgestone and is our recommended Budget Choice.  It doesn't excel at anything, but it's a good all-around performer."

Too bad they didn't test the Yoko ES100 (or perhaps they did and it did not make their top 10?).

The Fuzion and the ES100 would be in the "same class" in terms of performance and pricing.

But it is really great to see such an "underdog" outperform the much much more expensive choices. Way to go Bridgestone!

One thing I like about the ES100 tire is that it's available in sizes for 'average' cars (60 and even 65 series).  It's near impossible to find performance tires in 60/65 series anymore.  Of the tested tires in the above list, many are available only in 17+ sizes.

Problem with this test is they compare different catagories of performance tire. Kind of like comparing apples, oranges and bananas. All fruit but totally different. Glaring comparison is the fact they include the Falken Azenis RT-615 and Yokohama Advan Neova. These 2 tires are more of a track/street hybrid.

Yup, definitely a mixed bag of "classes of tires".

Still interesting to see that the lesser tires outperforming the highly-regarded ones.

I guess it depends on what type of tests they used to grade the tires.

I'm very interested in the test. Does anybody kindly tell me where can find the entire test description? Or where can find the original test report? Thanks in advance.
