Hard to know.  My regular ad worked for me, but I was selling a convertible in the spring, so I didn't need much extra attention.  If I was selling a more common vehicle, maybe I would have sprung for the extra exposure.

Not sure. I have used the regular ads several times successfully. I might spring for the premium ads if I were selling the Bullitt, just to show off it's condition/paint better. I always look at the color ads in the back first if I buy the paper edition.

All my auto trader shopping is online - does the premium ad offer more online visibility?

Slightly larger pic, maybe other perks.  Check online - you're there already.

I guess I should have been more specific.  As a user of autotrader online, I really couldn't tell you which of the ads that I'm reading or premium ads or regular ads.

Of course, I just get on and start poking away at the keyboard - I don't read any help files or whatever that might give me a hint as to which are the premium ads.  But as I'm a buyer, not a seller I don't really care - I'm just looking for info. .... Would that make me any different than any other browser/buyer??

the basic add just lists the header, the standard ad lists the header and some of the text, at least with the online edition.

Gotcha - I guess I have to say I get alot more info out of those ads that have the bolded headers (i.e. Engine, Transmission, Cylinder, Fuel, Drive etc etc).  Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry for not knowing the difference - as I've said, not a seller, just a buyer be
