Programming keyless entry remote
« on: September 23, 2005, 01:23:35 pm »
I have a 1994 ford explorer and I just purchased an after market remote entry transmitter.  Where is the programming connector pins in the lr quarter panel?

I think you might best be served by going to a place that installs them and let them show you.

I don't really get your question.

I frankly didn't know a 94 Explorer had remote locking.  Some of the higher models did have the remote entry and locking buttons on the drivers door which was a Ford and early Nissan feature that was great, but from the sound of it you are trying to program a Ford central locking system with a remote aftermarket generic transmitter.  I have no clue on that.
