The facelifted Cayenne will be arriving at dealers as 06.5, roughly the same time as it first launched back in 03.

The Cayenne looks like an older RAV4 with a home made bumper.  Are they serious?

IIRC, Autobild said the 2nd pic is for BMW's R-Class beater crossover instead of G-Class.

The new Cayenne headlights are much nicer than the current ones.

The Cayenne rules, if someone wants attention in a car buy this, and it can go off-roading as well as a range rover.

A lot of people say they are ugly, however, they seem to be selling a boat load of them so some people must like them, myself included.

The only things they need to change are on the interior, the navigation system and the whole stereo system is ridiculous, the controls on the steering wheel to change the radio station do not shift between the presets, it looks for the next available channel - This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen on a car, the reason you set a preset is b/c you like the channel, presumably you like all of the channels on your preset and don't want to listen to other things, just makes no sense to me - seriously frustrating.

Another problem is the automatic wipers, they're only automatic when you turn them on, every time you start the car you must readjust to the automatic settting (meaning take off automatic and put it back on) - what are they thinking??

This is the beginning of the list of things wrong with the interior...having said all of that we love it!!!

LOL - I'm glad you're honest.

I buy cars because they do what I want them to; I don't care if they attract attention or not.
But I know that's important for some people!  (Note that I don't necessarily mean you, your post left it up to interpretation whether that factor was just an incidental or not).

I noticed this on the X3 as well.  I believe it's a safety measure in case you bring your ride to the car wash bay...
