A while ago Jeremy Clarkson, from Top Gear, said that every auto enthusiast should have a 10 Car Garage wish list.  That got me thinking.

If you could have 10 cars and 10 cars only, from when ever where ever, what would you want?  Something for every occasion - or all hardcore speed machines?

My 10 car garage would be:   (in order of preference)

1) '06 BMW M5
2) '04 Porsche 911 Turbo
3) '06 Ferrari F430
4) '02 Nissan Skyline GTR
5) '04 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R (for track only)
6) '05 Mitsubishi EVO
7) '97 Toyota Supra TT
8) '05 Infiniti QX56 (for the snow)
9) '05 Nissan Titan CC LE (for the dirt)
10) '05 Maybach 62 (with chaffeur)

Ten is hard...  I think a mixture of practical and not so practical, a couple cars I can just drive and a couple I can play with and work on...

Lemme see:

1) '06 Porsche Cayanne (for snow and winter conditions, as well as moving family)
2) '06 Honda S2000 (for me)
3) '06 Honda Civic Si (for daily driving)
4) '06 Ford Mustang GT (for me)
5) '06 Mercedes SL500 (for me)
6) '06 Nissan NISMO-loaded 350Z
7) '69-71 Dodge Charger Hemi (project car)
8) '06 Aston Marton DB9 (for me)
9) '06 Porsche Carerra 4S (for me)
10) Not sure.  Skyline/Supra/Prelude -> a good tuner car

"Tentative-as-of-this-moment" list:

1- Audi A2 1.2 TDI (105+mpg, aluminum body, great roomy-yet-compact and upscale pkg. Unpainted in polished aluminum) or the VW Lupo 3L TDI (in yellow or bright green with base wheels, except I'd install the canvas roof in that puppy)
2- Audi RS6 Avant (incredible awe-inspiring wide-fendered sport with some packpack versatility. Not sure what colour... something mildly menacing and lowered)
3- Porsche Carrera GT (THE supercar for me in yellow please)
4- Volkswagen Phaeton V6 TDI (luxo cruiser of superb detail and old-world heft... exclusive to me, and questionable by those other than me, making it all the better a purchase. WaterWorld in exterior colour with contrasting interior)
5- Prestine early Volkswagen Old Beetle (I'd just love one in flat white - simple and timeless. Good 'ole vinyl seats)
6- Original Mercedes-Benz SL Gull-Wing (a true classic, which somehow still looks modern to me. Silver, because black looks too dull on it)
7- VW Lupo GTI (in black... lightweight with some 125hp which I'm sure I could find a way to boost)
8- Lotus Exige (provided I could fit - ORANGE like someone we know's)
9- Volkswagen Touran TDI (vacation and family time - Coastal Blue with two-tone interior)
10- Acura NSX-T (first car that ever captivated me, so has to be on the list - yellow or blue)

All in my wettest dreams  :heart:

1. BMW 645Ci (loved this car since it's intro)
2. Aston Martin DB9 (for my girlfriend, it's her favourite car)
3. BMW 545i (one of my faves, but i would probably give it to my parents)
4. Volvo S60 R (I am a volvo fan for life, and it would do well in the snow)
3. Ferrari 550 Maranello (gotta have a looker, also something for the track)
5. Porsche 911 Turbo (benchmark, I wanna be a part of the legend)
6. Porsche Cararra (gotta have a super car)
7. Mercedes-Benz SLR (i need a convertable)
8. Cadillac STS (for the girlfriends parents. they are hardcore caddy  fans)
9. BMW 530xi (for when I need to haul loads of stuff)
10. Toyota Yaris (for when I feel guilty about owning unreliable gas guzzlers)


That was harder than I thought it would be. So many great choices. My selections are all new model years.

I've spent four days so far prepping this beast.
Regardless Tim many of the cars on your list would be on mine. I have already had the peasure of a new 86' Porsche Cerrara Targa and a new 65' Mustang (260 -V8), a new TR 250, a neat little Sun Beam Alpine to name only a few.
I'm obviously an old fart.
A new super charged Range Rover would be neat but heck who has the do ray me!

Sigh reality would be 1 commuter Corolla....2split lawnchairs,3 crappy bikes,2 "WEED" wackers,rusted BBQ and a TON of old Toys,Crapolla,holed canoe,hockey nets,busted kerosene heater,saved "good" wood,10 year old paint cans...Teracotta Magic Latex!!!!...15 rusted tools sets and assorted garden impliments a stinkass bunny in a cage..... :'(
