Thats a nice kit car but I would prefer the 428 or 429 engine under the hood just like some of the originals. I believe I have seen this actual car and it was well put together. They have been selling tickets on this car at many carshows as well as many others makes and models. Some Lucky person Won this car and have listed it For Sale. It will be interesting how much it actually goes for.  :)

I never realized you could get a kit of this quality for that price. How many summer roadsters can be had for this price with that kind of power to weight ratio?....amazing. I think a key issue as stated in the ad is the low-tech mechanicals that can be worked on anywhere. IMHO this is an option worthy of consideration.

There were three kit car Cobras at last Sunday's big car show here. All of them had 427 engines.
2011 BMW X3 35i Vermillion Red, MSport
and
2012 Toyota Camry SE V6 in Alpine White

The most sad Corba I've seen was based off a MGB - engine, suspension, etc.

Ummm the FFR GTM Supercar can be had for around $30k USD?  Can I import one?  Probably not road legal here  :-\

Well actually Wing in you delve into the FF site I think there is entire section on importing the kits into Canada. I also have a DVD from the factory that is very cool. My brother drove one of the 427 FFR's and told me it was wild. I would love to build one.

I have a couple of 1/18 Exoto models of the Cobra Daytona - even they are way cool. The real one must be awesome!!

That pic is of a replica by Superformance from South Africa (as is the Cobra pic above). The Superformance Coupe starts at about $CAN 85,000 without a drivetrain. :o The Mk III (Cobra) starts at $CAN 58,000.

They are supposed to be one of the best replicas you can buy. www.superformance.com

I have seen some of the standard Cobra kits at starting around $14,000 Canadian with NO engine or tranny.  Basically a rolling chassis with a Basic interior. The more options you want costs accordingly.  :)
